Office Administration Level 5

This course primarily focuses on preparation for work in an office environment, but many students use it as a stepping stone for entry to third level courses in the areas of business, computers and accountancy.  Work placement is a mandatory element to the course and allows students to gain up to 3 weeks experience in a busy office environment.  Some students also use this course as useful preparation for subsequent third level studies.

Motor Technology

The purpose of this pre-apprenticeship course is to enable the learner to acquire the knowledge, skill and competence required to independently and under supervision carry out diagnostic, maintenance and installation procedures on electronic and mechanical components utilised within the motor technology sector and to progress onto an apprenticeship or higher education and training.  It aims to give students a broad knowledge of the work practices involved in car mechanics and car maintenance.
The Motor Trade is a fast paced rapidly changing and challenging environment in which there are many career opportunities. The skills and knowledge acquired on this course are invaluable to anybody wishing to enter the trade.
Students may also have the opportunity to apply for paid work placement within Europe as part of our Erasmus+ Programme.


Tourism Level 5

This course is aimed at students who would like to work in and manage a busy office environment while also learning the theory and practice of Tourism in Business.

Tourism Level 6

This course is designed to develop the skills of those from the Tourism courses to address the growing needs in the marketplace for professionals to serve the vibrant hospitality and tourism sector in Ireland and abroad. The course combines Tourism subjects with the business skills necessary to function within an evolving sector. skills required for  working in a hotel front office environment.
