Green Cert Agriculture Level 6
Westport College of Further Education are pleased to announce the launch of our part time QQI/FETAC Agriculture Level 5 and Level 6 course. The course will commence in September 2017 and finish in November 2018.
The course is often called the ‘Green Cert’ and provides students with practical and farm management training.

The course will take place on Monday and Tuesday Evenings from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm with the option of classroom or online based learning. You will be required to attend the classes scheduled on these nights or to view them online at these times depending on the option you have signed up for.

As the on-line course provides those with demanding life commitments to partake in completion of the Green Cert it does however require the student to be present in the College in Westport for examinations/assessment.
Assessment for the online course will take place on a number of Saturdays over the duration of the course. It is envisaged that the following are the dates:

Saturday 27th January 2018
Saturday 31st March 2018
Saturday 22nd September 2018
Teachers will advise in advance on the assessment procedure for each module and the time frame allocated to same. All examinations assessments and skills demonstrations will be held in accordance with QQI protocol.
