Week 1 Intro on Herbal Medicine

History of use in Ireland and the world, indigenous plants with basic monographs, herb walk through the garden. Intro on nutrition basics, macro and micro nutrients.


Week 2 Immunity and Respiratory

What is the immune system, lymphatic system? Common illness and how to support with natural remedies. Demonstration on how to make elderberry syrup, herbal honeys and the use of essential oils.


Week 3 Digestion

A walk through the digestive system and common ailments. How to support proper digestion and remedies to enhance absorption of nutrients.


Week 4 First Aid and Musculosketal System

How to create a naturopathic first aid kit for the home. Practical ways to use herbs to support the musculosketal system and we will discuss chronic inflammation. Healing balm demo.


Week 5 Cookery Demo with emphasis on phytonutrients

Healthy snacks and juices


Week 6 Stress and Nervous System

Foods and herbs to support with monographs, lifestyle tips and digital detox.


Week 7 Endocrine System

Blood sugar balance, endocrine disruptors and adrenal support.


Week 8 Skin and handmade cosmetics

Discuss the organs of elimination, lymphatic system. Common skin problems, herbs to support and good foods. Cream demo.
